It was hell getting Issue 9/11 out. Just horrible! When we were about to hit send, the door to the office was kicked down and immediately some large gentlemen in black came streaming in and put a hood over my head. They drove me around for a while and I ended up where I could only imagine was the Coca-Cola bottling plant where I was tortured for hours on end. I was put in a pitch dark room with shit all over the walls where I laid strapped down to and electrocuted. Followed by a water boarding session in which I think they used this god-awful substance called “Dr. Pepper.” I dunno, it tasted awful. Right before they were gonna break my knees and other extremities, I finally had a breakdown and screamed: “FINE. I DID IT FOR TEH LOLZAH!” After that they dropped me off at the back of the Denny’s across teh university on Central where I scrambled to the nearest computer to send Issue 9/11 to the listserv.
Like always, our best work yet!

Let me say this about Issue 5– it’s the tits! This one features our third original article in the Page d’Art featuring Jessica R. Metcalfe, who talks about Native fashion. I would keep typing, but I feel bad holding you guys from this epic issue.

Issue 3 was released on February 8, 2011, and contains our first two featured articles. The first one in the Page d’Art, which dealt with us going to the world premiere of Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a land ethic for out time, and the second one concerned our series, Shortchanged: FY2012. Oh, and our first Image d’Art. Trust me, it’s some good stuff.

Issue 2 was first published on February 2, 2011: the same day that Governor Vuvu declared a state of emergency! It wasn’t because Issue 2 came out, but we certainly like to think so. It was because it was so damn cold in New Mexico most people didn’t know what to do. Besides, this was out most classiest issue– It only has the fuck-word in it twice!
